Golf Course Update

At last night’s PCA Board meeting I announced that we are close to finalizing an agreement with Century Golf for them to manage the golf course for up to one more year, at a reduced rental rate.  We have started a national search for a replacement firm and have appointed  a Search Committee to work with our advisors to identify, interview and make a recommendation to the PCA Board on a replacement company by May 1st.  The Search Committee members are:
 
1.      Deb Smith – Chair – Also chairs the Golf Course Advisory Council (Greens)
2.      John Caccivio – Vice Chair and Board Liaison – Vice President of PCA Board (Mews)
3.      Dave White – Director on the PCA Board (Inverness)
4.      Timm McCarty – Oxford House President with a strong background in golf course
management and real estate (Oxford)
5.      Brian Arnett – golfer and background in proposals and contracts (Heights)
 
Brian Cramp – ex officio member as the Community Manager
Golf Business Advisors -- consultant
 
We will establish a Budget Task Force at the February PCA Board meeting.  This will be composed of one member from each land bay with the sole purpose of making recommendations to the PCA Board by April 16th on items to reduce or eliminate from the 2012 Budget.  At last night’s PCA Board meeting I requested each land bay to nominate a representative to the Budget Task Force no later than the February PCA Board meeting.
